I’m an entrepreneur and writer. I love business and liked making and building things before I even understood what an entrepreneur was or did. I have a B.A. from Howard University and a Masters from Georgetown University. As a kid, I started a bunch of things from a monthly family newsletter and sold everything from necklaces on the playground to potato chips and candy.

I started CEO Blog Nation and co-founded and organization called Men of Character of Virginia. Recently, I completed a short book to help guide entrepreneurs and business owners in starting a business called Lil’ Bessie Starts a Business.

I’m a member of Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity, Zeta Phi Chapter,  Sigma Tau Delta International Honor Society and I’m an alumni of the AmeriCorps Heads Up program.

I’ve been on the grant writing team for Men of Character of Virginia ($1,000), Capital Cause ($3,000) and American Humanics ($100,000). One of my favorite quotations is “Don’t tell me the sky is the limit when there are footprints on the moon.”

Most recently, I started a business called Blue 16 Media which provides digital marketing consultation and services to start-ups and businesses.
