If you haven't heard of Followupthen.com, check it out now. Especially if you do any type of cold calls or have trouble remembering things. Often, when I call a prospective client, they might ask me to follow up with in a month, in two weeks etc. I know that I'm very likely not going to remember and in addition to adding it to my CRM–Insightly–I use Followupthen as my reminder. Mainly because I also go through my e-mails (at least one of them) like a checklist.
Here's how it works: You send an e-mail to yourself or maybe to a client and you BCC [TIMEFRAME]@followthen.com. You will remove [TIMEFRAME] and input the reminder that you want. It may be a month ([email protected]) or on Thursday (thursday@followupthen) or next year (nextyear@followupthen). The bottom line is that you no longer have to remember and followup then will send you a reminder exactly at the time you specify. They have a list of scenarios that you can use on their site here.
It's been awesome for me and you should check it out too.
PS–It's free.
Periodically, I will share some of the tools that I use to run my business and share with the members of the membership site B16.co. Check them out too and let me know what you think in the comments below.
